Domestic Timber Fences

Before the current crop of low maintenance, long lasting products (eg. composite or metal) this style was (and still is) hugely popular. The concrete posts and gravel boards wont  suck up water meaning the panel wont be affected by the capilary action. The gravel boards are also slightly slanted on top to help aid water run off after periods of rain.

Unlike a large range of modern products, this style can be painted over  (posts, gravel boards and panels) without affecting any specialised coating or invalidating warranties. This is, of course, providing you use the correct outdoor paint.
